Care for Your Magic — Product Care Guide
Because a little love keeps the magic alive longer.
Apparel (HTV, Sublimation & On-Demand Tees)
Wash Instructions (all clothing types):
• Turn garments inside out before washing
• Wash in cold water
• Use gentle cycle, mild detergent
• Hang to dry or tumble dry low
• Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean
A note on fading:
After about 50+ washes, you might notice some fading or wear—just like with any beloved t-shirt. That’s natural with handmade apparel and doesn’t mean the magic is gone—it just means it’s well-loved.
Sublimation Apparel (like graphic tees, sweatshirts, etc.)
• Avoid high heat when drying—air dry is best
• Sublimation ink bonds with the fabric, so there’s no peeling, but fading can occur over time
• Best results come with cold water washes and avoiding fabric softener
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) Apparel
• Absolutely no high heat drying—this can lift the vinyl
• Don’t iron directly over the design
• Always wash inside out
• Skip the fabric softeners and bleach—they break down the adhesive magic faster
Sublimation Tumblers
• Hand wash only
• Do not soak
• Do not put in the dishwasher or microwave
• Treat with care—drops, scrapes, and banging them around can damage the design or seal
Your cup’s personality may be bold, but she’s a little high maintenance. She’ll stay pretty longer with gentle treatment.
Sublimation Mugs (Ceramic Only)
• Microwave-safe
• Top-rack dishwasher-safe
• For best results and longevity, we still recommend hand washing when possible—especially if you want to keep the colors vibrant for years.
Note: Not all cups are created equal. While most of our sublimation mugs are microwave and dishwasher-safe, any specialty items or limited-edition cups may vary—please check the individual product listing for care tags.
Permanent Vinyl Products (like decals on cups, jars, car stickers, etc.)
• Do not scrub directly over the vinyl
• Hand wash only for any items with vinyl decals
• Keep away from high heat or extreme outdoor conditions for long periods (like direct sun in hot car dashboards)
Vinyl is durable—but it isn’t immortal. Treat it kindly and it’ll enchant your space for years to come.
Final Tips from the Coven:
• When in doubt, treat it gently—these are handmade goods, not mass-produced spells
