✨ Care for Your Magic — Product Care Guide
A little love keeps the magic alive longer.
Everything at 716 Coven & Company is selected, created, decorated, or finished with care. Because our boutique includes everything from everyday apparel to rhinestones, embroidered pieces, jewelry, beanies, and one-of-a-kind finds, care instructions can vary depending on the item.
When in doubt, treat your magic gently. 🖤
👕 Apparel
Our apparel may feature Direct-to-Film (DTF) prints, heat-transfer designs, spangles, rhinestones, embroidery, patches, specialty embellishments, or a combination of techniques.
General Apparel Care
• Turn garments inside out before washing
• Wash in cold water
• Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent
• Wash with similar colors
• Hang to dry whenever possible
• If needed, tumble dry on low heat
• Do not bleach
• Do not dry clean unless specifically stated on the product listing
• Never iron directly over a design, rhinestones, spangles, patches, or other embellishments
The gentler you treat it, the longer the magic lasts. 🔮
💎 Rhinestones, Spangles & Embellished Apparel
Our bling deserves a little extra love.
For rhinestone, spangle, sequin, and other embellished pieces:
• Turn the garment inside out before washing
• Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle
• Avoid fabric softener when possible
• Hang to dry for best results
• Do not iron directly over embellishments
• Avoid excessive heat
• Do not dry clean unless otherwise specified
Individual stones or embellishments may loosen over time due to normal wear, friction, washing, or improper care.
Treat the bling like the diva she is. ✨
🧵 Embroidered Apparel
For embroidered clothing and accessories:
• Wash inside out when possible
• Use cold water and a gentle cycle
• Avoid bleach
• Hang to dry or tumble dry low
• Do not iron directly over embroidery
• Avoid pulling or cutting embroidery threads
Some texture or slight changes in the embroidery may occur naturally over time with wear and washing.
🧢 Beanies & Hats
Because materials and embellishments may vary, always check the individual product description first.
For most beanies and hats:
• Hand washing is recommended
• Use cold water and mild detergent
• Do not bleach
• Do not wring or twist
• Reshape while damp
• Lay flat to dry
• Avoid high heat
Beanies or hats featuring rhinestones, patches, embroidery, or other embellishments should be handled especially gently.
Nobody wants a sad witch hat. 🧙♀️
💍 Jewelry & Accessories
Our jewelry collection may include handmade, sublimated, printed, beaded, metal, acrylic, fabric, or other specialty pieces.
To keep your pieces looking their best:
• Avoid prolonged exposure to water
• Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, and harsh chemicals
• Store jewelry in a clean, dry place
• Handle printed and sublimated surfaces gently
• Do not scrub or use abrasive cleaners
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth when needed
Natural wear may occur over time depending on the materials, frequency of use, and individual body chemistry.
Your jewelry may make a statement, but she doesn’t need to go swimming with you. 😉
🪡 Upcycled & One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Some pieces in the Coven may be upcycled, repurposed, hand-altered, embellished, or completely one of a kind.
Because these items may combine different fabrics, materials, and techniques, care instructions will vary by piece.
Please follow the care instructions included in the individual product listing.
Variations, distressing, vintage characteristics, or other unique details may be intentional and are part of what makes these pieces special.
Once they’re gone, they may truly be gone for good.
🖤 A Note About Handmade & Specialty Products
Many of our products are individually created, decorated, or finished rather than mass produced.
Because of this, slight variations in:
• Color
• Placement
• Print appearance
• Rhinestone or embellishment placement
• Embroidery
• Handmade details
may occur.
These small variations are part of the character of handmade and specialty products and are not considered defects.
🔮 Final Tips From the Coven
When in doubt: cold water, gentle treatment, and no excessive heat.
Treat specialty apparel and accessories with a little extra care and they’ll keep working their magic much longer.
Always check the individual product listing when an item contains specialty materials or has care instructions that differ from this general guide.
