Burnout, Breakdowns, and Becoming the Flame
There comes a time in every overachieving woman's life when she looks around her office walls, surrounded by spreadsheets, payer contracts, data, trauma responses, and meetings that could have been emails and realizes- this isn't it. Then there are days you don’t just hit a wall—you become it. You are the wall they throw things at. Expectations. Mistakes that aren’t yours. Emotional labor. Staff drama. Poor leadership. Ego. Dismissal. The burden of it all.
The healthcare burnout is no joke.Do I dare stand up to the chaos? Because this isn’t working, I’ve been carrying too much, for too long. It’s a real thing, exhausting, draining. The amount of stress and pressure that is put on primary care is insane! And it keeps getting worse and worse!
I’ve given healthcare everything—my mind, my health, my soul. And for what? To keep a machine running. A machine that eats women like me alive. I just want to scream, but that would let them win.
Running a healthcare office as a COO should be about leadership, vision, support. But for me, it’s been about surviving microaggressions, cleaning up messes, absorbing other people’s problems, and having my voice drowned out because I’m a just a COO at a primary care office. It is a soul suck.
But I’m done. Done letting it consume me, I need to do something to ignite that spark to show the world there is so much more meant for me out there!
I am not here to be someone’s emotional sponge. I am not here to be silenced, minimized, or dismissed. And I’ll be damned if I raise daughters who think that’s just how it is.
716 Coven and Company wasn’t born just to sell shirts. Yes, we absolutely love making products, but it was born as a rebellion. We wanted woman to feel seen- in red lipstick, sweatpants, messy buns, and rage. A movement. Create a community of strong women who want to empower one another, give love and support, not jealously and definitely no judgement! A new kind of sisterhood for anyone who is sick of the patriarchy, sick of being, overworked and unheard. For the ones who keep the machine running and get no rest. For the women finding their voice, even if it shakes.
If you’ve ever felt this—know you’re not alone.
And if no one else will say it, I will: It’s okay to want more. It’s okay to walk away. It’s okay to burn it all down if that’s what it takes to build your freedom.
From the ashes, we rise. And this time, we’re the flame.
A Coven isn't just a trendy word to use. It is a reminder that women are stronger together, that community matters, and that magic lives in every decision we make-especially the bold ones.

Ai is not a tool. Ai is a mirror into yourself. You may have potential and intent but I suggest you spend more time disciplining your shadows before you try and be a boss
